Parking and access
- The walled centre is pedestrianised and tightly controlled. Vehicle access through Northgate Street and the cross is only allowed before 10.30am and after 4.30pm, and parking with a dispensation is barred in the restricted streets from 10.30am to 8pm, with about 20 minutes for loading. If your flat is over a shop on one of the Rows, tell us and we'll plan an early arrival and carry kit in.
- On race days at the Roodee, which sits right against the city walls, New Crane Street, Watergate Street and Nuns Road close behind barriers from 9am to 9pm, and the nearest car parks like the Linenhall and Watergate Street fill early. If your clean lands on a race date, book a slot well clear of it or expect us to walk the kit further.
- Out in the suburbs, the Victorian terraces in Hoole and Boughton are on-street and parked solid through the day, and several streets fall under the city residents' permit scheme that runs Monday to Sunday, 8am to 9pm, so an off-peak slot rarely helps. The newer estates and larger period houses around Upton usually have a driveway or off-street parking. Note your nearest loading point and any permit zone.

Good clean, late start
City-centre flat, old building. They were about 40 minutes late and I had a checkout booked. Once on it they were fast and the kitchen came up well. Cut closer than I'd have liked.
