Privacy Policy

This site is operated by HomeGuild, a cleaning company serving Liverpool, Manchester, London, and surrounding areas. For any question about your data, email office@homeguild.co.uk or call 07520 683715. Last updated 17 May 2026.

We only collect what you give us. There is no account system and no login. When you use the quote or contact form we receive:

• Your name and the contact details you enter (email and/or phone).
• The property and service details you share so we can scope and price the job.
• Anything you write in the message field.

We do not ask for payment details on this website. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We use your details for one thing: to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and arrange the clean if you go ahead. The lawful basis under UK GDPR is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our services, and, where you become a customer, performance of the work you ask us to do. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

If you post a job for a trade other than cleaning, we use your details to pass that job to local tradespeople who can quote for it. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give with the tick box on the job form, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. If you sign up as a tradesperson, we use your details to check your business and send you jobs in the areas you chose, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the service you asked to join.

We keep the list of processors short on purpose:

• Hosting: the site is served by Vercel, which processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver pages and keep the service available.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 measures how the site is used, in aggregate. See the cookie policy for the cookies this sets and how to opt out.
• Enquiry handling: form submissions are emailed to our office through Resend and stored in a secure internal system so the team can reply.
• Tradespeople: if you post a job for a trade other than cleaning, and you agree on the form, we share your job details, name and contact details with no more than 3 local tradespeople so they can quote. Each tradesperson then handles your details as their own business.
• Jobs board: our public jobs board shows only the trade, the postcode district (for example M20), the timing and the budget band. It never shows your name, phone, email, full postcode or job description.

Apart from the above, we do not share your data, and we never pass it to advertisers or data brokers.

Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted. If you become a customer, basic job records are kept for as long as we need them for tax and accounting, then removed. Ask us and we will tell you what we still hold.

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email office@homeguild.co.uk and we will action it. There is no charge for a reasonable request. If you are not happy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
